Introducing NAACCR’s Data Suppression Primer

In response to a need identified by the NAACCR community, the NAACCR Data Security & Confidentiality Workgroup (https://www.naaccr.org/data-security-confidentiality-resources/; a workgroup of RDU) is developing a primer on topic of data suppression in the context of publicly available aggregate data. The document intends to offer recommendations to mitigate statistical instability and protect patient or group confidentiality but maximize responsible data sharing when presenting counts and rates via unmonitored, publicly available data.
