CINA DATA (FROM SOUP TO NUTS)

An update on what is new with the CiNA Monographs, CiNA Datasets, and all other CiNA products. This presentation will provide an overview of the current CiNA data and will provide a look into future CiNA data products. This presentation will also provide an introduction to two new CiNA Tools: CiNA Explorer (a new, on-line, query-able statistics and data visualization tool replacing Fast*Stats) and CiNA DaRT (a new, on-line Data Request Tracking system replaced our manual CiNA dataset request process).

Dr. Sherman Program Manager of Data Use & Research, NAACCR received her PhD from University of Miami Miller Medical School and her MPH from Oregon Health & Sciences University. Prior to her role at NAACCR, she worked at the Oregon and Florida registries. 

Bozena Morawski, PhD, MPH

Epidemiologist

Cancer Data Registry of Idaho

Dr. Bozena Morawski is an epidemiologist at the Cancer Data Registry of Idaho and co-Principal Investigator for Idaho’s SEER contract. She received a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota and an MPH from the University of California, Los Angeles. She chairs the NAACCR Data Security and Confidentiality Work Group, is a member of the CiNA Editorial Work Group, and a member of the CiNA Survival and Prevalence Work Group.

Brenda Hofer, MA

Research Scientist

UC Davis Health/Comprehensive Cancer Center

Ms. Hofer has worked for the California Cancer Registry Program for over 15 years, and is currently a member of the RDU Steering Committee and chairs the workgroup developing a handbook for registry analysts.
